Lubelu London is a love letter to my daughter — and to all the little moments that make childhood so magical.
Pronounced “lu-be-lu,” the name comes from my daughter’s beloved doll when she was small. When I returned to work after maternity leave, she was just 13 months old. Leaving her each morning was never easy, but knowing she was at her Nonna’s house, happily playing with her Lubelu doll, brought comfort. Throughout the day, I’d get sweet updates: “They’re having lunch,” “They’re taking a nap.” Little stories like these helped close the distance and reminded me of the joy waiting at home.
One day, I sketched an illustration inspired by those memories — and that drawing sparked something special. What began as a single illustration has now grown into a collection celebrating the magic of girlhood, imagination, and love.
Now, nearly nine years after that first little sketch, Lubelu London is finally launching a collection of heartfelt creations — from doll face illustrations and bows to bow cards, posters, and a feel-good wellness journal.
Lubelu is more than a brand — it’s a reminder to pause, cherish the little things, and hold close the memories that make life so full of love — just like the ones my daughter and I continue to create together.
